GIVING BACK
For more than a century, Ferguson Construction has supported the communities where we live and work through workforce development, nonprofit partnerships, and employee volunteerism.
AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY RELAY FOR LIFE
Examples of our past fundraising events include: employee yard sales for donations, 50/50 office raffles, employee silent auction bake sales, and Touch- Truck events
The Ferguson Relay for Life Team donates at the Jade Level Achievement or higher to the local chapter each year.
FOOD BANK CONSTRUCTION
Canstruction is a friendly competition between local companies to create and build a 3D object out of food cans. During the event, the public votes for their favorite structures on social media. Awards are given to the participants for the most cans, structural integrity, the best meal, and People’s Choice award. After the event, the food cans are donated to the local food bank.
Ferguson employees have enjoyed the opportunity to be a part of helping create, build, and vote for the company’s can structure each year. In past years, Ferguson has built a giant hard hat, large boot, a bulldozer, lego construction people, and a battleship.
DOWN SYNDROME SOCIETY
Ferguson employees raise funds to help bring awareness and support the Down Syndrome Society’s programs. Each September, employees, along with their families and friends, walk in the Buddy Walk at Dayton Air Park in Dayton, Ohio.
WORKFORCE PARTNERSHIP OF SHELBY COUNTY
Ferguson is one of 42 local employers who work with area schools to educate and prepare students for careers right out of high school.
