University of Dayton: computer science Lab
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Ferguson Construction proudly completed the University of Dayton‘s Computer Science Renovation and Addition, a significant two-phased project spanning fifteen months.
Phase One involved remodeling 6,990 SF of lab space in the Kettering Hall basement. This space was to serve as the temporary home for the Computer Science Department while Phase Two was underway. This phase was meticulously planned and executed to ensure completion before the students returned in the fall, providing them with upgraded and functional lab spaces for the new academic year.
Phase Two saw the remodel of 50,000 SF of existing classrooms and office space with a new 3,810 square foot connector building, strategically designed to link Kettering Labs and Kettering Labs Annex. This connector efficiently accommodated the high level of student traffic from the south, enhancing campus accessibility and convenience.
The University of Dayton: Computer Science Renovation and Addition was a plan-spec project completed in less than a year and a half, demonstrating Ferguson Construction’s commitment to excellence and ability to deliver complex projects on time.
