BEHR & KREBEHENNE NOMINATED FOR OHIO VALLEY ABC CRAFT PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR

(SIDNEY, OHIO – April 7, 2022) – Ferguson Construction, with regional offices in Ohio and Indiana, has nominated two extraordinary employees as Ohio Valley ABC (Associated Builders and Contractors) Craft Professional of the Year. This award, recognized by the Ohio Valley ABC during the Excellence in Construction Gala, is awarded to a craft professional who excels in all areas of their job. The two nominees are Tom Behr and Marty Krebehenne.

Tom Behr

Tom Behr is a Project Crew Foreman and has been an immense asset to the Ferguson Construction Company for over 36 years. Jason Stiver, Ferguson Vice President, stated, “Tom’s quality and attention to detail are absolutely outstanding. Not only does he demand the absolute best out of his team, he places those same expectations on himself. He focuses on continuous improvement and is constantly evaluating processes to find a better way to do something and create better quality.”

Outside of work, Tom tirelessly donates his time to his parish, Sacred Heart of Jesus in McCartyville, and mission work through their Sister Parish in Kentucky. He makes several trips to this area throughout the year to volunteer during times of both crisis and general need. In March of 2022, he travelled to the Mayfield, KY area to help rebuild homes devastated by the recent tornadoes. Tom uses his valuable construction skills to give those in need renewed hope and a greater dignity in their homes.

Marty Krebehenne

Marty Krebehenne has been an essential resource in all areas of commercial construction for Ferguson for over 25 years. He began his career as a general laborer/sheet metal worker and has grown to lead Ferguson Construction’s quality department personnel, due to his vast knowledgeable structural steel and building enclosure techniques. Brad Wilson, Ferguson Field Resource Manager, stated, “Ferguson employees at every location know Marty’s exemplary reputation and rely on him for his excellent trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills.”

Outside of work, Marty is always willing to help someone in need. A natural, and well-known, local automotive mechanic, he uses his trouble-shooting skills to help diagnose and fix cars for friends and coworkers. He has a deep compassion for others and a selflessness that is evident in all aspects of his personal and professional life.
