Martin(Mick) Given New Ferguson Construction Company’s CEO and Chairman of the Board

Ferguson Construction has a history of being a quality builder and putting their customers first for the past 98 years. They first opened their doors in 1920 in Sidney, Ohio as a family business. Since then, the company has grown adding three other regional offices in Columbus, Dayton, and Indiana.  There have been six different presidents since opening the doors in 1920. The current president, Martin (Mick) Given has led the company for the past 17 years. During this time the company has grown.  He credits this success to the entire Ferguson team and their focus on customer care, safety, and quality.

Douglas Fortkamp 7th President of Ferguson Construction Company

Throughout their history, each of Ferguson’s presidents have had the honor to name the next president of the company. At the end of April 2018, Mr. Given will be naming Douglas Fortkamp, who is currently the executive vice president and operations manager, the seventh president of Ferguson Construction. Mr. Given will step into the role of CEO and chairman of the board. Also with this change, Mr. Jason Stiver will be named vice president and operations manager. Also, picking up some of the additional corporate responsibilities will be Senior Vice President Mr. Tom Snapp.  Mr. Given is excited about this new leadership team at Ferguson and for the future growth opportunities.

In addition to this, there have been other changes that have taken place within the last year and half with Ferguson’s other three locations. In the Columbus, Ohio office, Ben Lindsay has been named general manager. In the Dayton, Ohio office, Jeff King has made the transition from the role of business development to the general manager. Also the Indiana office has a newly named general manager in Clay Smith. This new leadership team brings new possibilities for success and future growth to Ferguson Construction along with many years of experience in the construction industry.
