Ferguson Constriction completed several high profiled jobs this year. The Columbus regional office finished construction on the Easton Towne Center project. This project included five different buildings being built at the same time within a small radius. The notable projects for the Dayton regional office include Xenia’s new YMCA facility, the University of Dayton’s 1401 Main Street Office, and the Salvation Army’s new athletic fields, splash pad, and sign tower. Ferguson’s Sidney regional office completed the construction of the new FlexArm facility.

While the other Ferguson’s offices were sharing the spotlight with their projects, the Indiana office was making its move. Ferguson Construction-Indiana was able to complete the construction of their new office building within five months and was able to move to Indianapolis. This move also allowed Ferguson-Indiana to create new job opportunities for the company within the local community.

During 2019, Ferguson Construction‘s community involvement reached outside the construction site to lend a helping hand during tragedy. During Memorial Day weekend when Dayton was struck with devastating tornadoes that left many without power and water, Ferguson’s Dayton regional office provided bottles of water and passed out much need hygiene items to those who were affected by the tornadoes. Ferguson continued its outreach efforts to the local community by hosting the third annual Touch-A-Truck and Garage Sale that benefited Relay for Life. Ferguson’s Relay for Life team was able to raise over $15,000 for the cancer organization this past year.  Ferguson also participated in the Buddy Walk for Down syndrome. Workforce Partnership of Shelby County’s Career Exploration Days is another outreach program the company is a part of this year. This two-day event allows local area middle and high school students to explore different careers.

2019 marked distinct milestones for the company. Ferguson’s company leadership completed its first year in its new company roles. Columbus’s regional office celebrated one year since moving into their new office.  Ferguson is looking forward to 2020 to bring a grand celebration for the company’s 100th anniversary with preparations are already underway.
